Jeremy Kidd

Network Technician

Started with CDN in 2013

I started my career as an I.T. professional in 2009 while serving in the U.S. Army. I was responsible for multiple networks and their users; security was the main focus at all times. My official title was the Sustainment Automations and Support Management Office Information Technology Specialist, a whole lot of syllables to describe someone who sets up small satellite terminals to access the Army’s logistical network, which was used by logisticians and commanders. Those particular networks were not a server/client setup, so administration kept me quite busy most days. I also administered their ‘Classified’ and ‘FOUO’ networks as well, working mainly with Exchange and Active Directory. At one point, I was one of five people responsible for a combined 1100 users and their machines. In April 2013, I decided to discontinue my service to the Army. Two months later, I was hired by CDN Partners Inc.
